Everyone at SEM would like to congratulate Crewe Midfielder Nick Powell on winning the League Two Young Player of the Month award for December.

Nick has been in great form of late after fully establishing himself in the first team this season. Nick exclusively told www.semplc.com "I'm pleased to win the award and hope I can continue to contribute to the team." Crewe director of football Dario Gradi added in an interview with BBC Sport, "He has always stood out as a talent. He has always been different."

17 year old Powell, capped by England at U17 level will also feature on the Football League Show this weekend.
