Ghanaian midfielder Bennard Kumordzi has received a call up from the national federation to the provisional 30-man World Cup squad. Bennard will be hoping to impress manager Milovan Rajevac in the warm up games and cement his place in the side that will face Germany, Serbia and Australia in the group stage of the tournament.
Bennard who is currently playing his club football in Greece added - “I am very happy that I have been chosen to the pre-selection of our National Team. I’ll work hard to vindicate the choice of our Coach and to gain a position in the squad that will participate in South Africa’s World Cup. As a player at Panionios G.S.S, I want to wish good luck to the National Team of Greece and also I wish to play them as an opponent in South Africa’s stadiums, against my team mate and friend Giorgos Tzavellas."
