| Rio Ferdinand’s Manchester United were crowned Premiership Champions,
after Chelsea failed to beat Arsenal on Sunday. The Red Devils
clinched their first title since 2003, without having to kick a ball
and Sir Alex Ferguson paid tribute to his side. "There was an emphasis
on the league and the key was our good start. Once we made that, we
never lost it. The Premier League is such a competitive league and the
focus and the pressure on the big clubs makes it a focus for us.” |
